![]() I completely fell in love with this neighborhood! alfred-coffee Alfred Coffee Coffee & Tea, Breakfast & Brunch 0.04 mi. We drove through Silver Lake, another happening East Side spot. We stopped at the Silver Lake Pool & Inn to check it out for our next LA stay. Plus, we had a baby earthquake that morning! My photos are not sunny because it rained almost every day we were in LA. ![]() They couldn’t show me a room because they were full, but we got the gist. A little oasis in the middle of the city. Next door to the hotel, a new EREWHON just opened up with a very cool wine bar attached to it. Fun fact, EREWHON started on Newbury Street in 1966 and moved it to LA in 1969. ![]() Jones Hollywood in West Hollywood for dinner. Food was DELICIOUS and super crowded, so a lot of fun. West Hollywood Farmer’s Market on Melrose Place for Sunday breakfast. Coffee from Alfred – the world’s most expensive coffee! And just this fall, Chamberlain Coffee became available to Angelenos at influencer mothership, Erewhon, a health-driven market with seven locations that’s been around since the ‘60s. It was a cool and sunny day, perfect for hanging around the museum. ![]() We had a very early flight out Monday morning, so we decamped to our old stomping ground – Manhattan Beach – for dinner at Love & Salt and stayed the Marriott Airport Hotel (classy!) so we wouldn’t miss our flight. We didn’t rent a car this time, which actually worked out well. Grace has a car and did most of the driving. It was definitely less than renting a car these days. ![]()
